Thrivent Financial sponsors Third Home in the East Bay!

Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity is a four-year, $106 million alliance between Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and Habitat for Humanity International designed to help provide a “hand up” to people who lack decent shelter. Thrivent Financial is a faith-based membership organization committed to helping its nearly three million members achieve financial security and give back to their congregations and communities.
In 2008, Thrivent Financial will support the building of one home every 28 hours, nationwide. Habitat for Humanity East Bay is honored and excited to have been chosen to build one of those houses in our community, in partnership with the South Alameda County, North Alameda County, and Contra Costa County Chapters of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. The home will will located at the Edes Avenue development in Oakland.
To fulfill our commitment to Thrivent, we must recruit the Lutheran community to get involved and participate in fundraising and volunteering. The project has begun - please join us!
