Family Resource Committee
The Family Resource Committee assists partners families as they transition to homeownership. The committee consists of the Community Building Team and College Trak. The Community Building Team recognizes that neighborhood revitalization requires more than building new homes; it requires building sustainable change for families and communities. By coordinating events and holding one-on-one meetings, volunteers work with homeowners to develop leadership capacity and community building skills to address issues within their communities. College Trak activities educate, inform, and promote civic responsibility and personal empowerment in Habitat youth. Planned activities are based on youth interestes and college-readiness objectives and have included college planning workshops, community service projects, tours of local hi-tech companies, and team-building activites.
