The Covenant Congregation
Through the Covenant relationship with Habitat East Bay, faith groups express with their prayers, time, energy, and money that all people are entitled to a safe place to call home. The Covenant Congregation relationship is a partnership from which both Habitat for Humanity East Bay and the congregation benefit. HEB relies on congregations supporting us financially, spiritually and through sending volunteers to our programs. In turn, our affiliate gratefully honors your commitment to us by promoting the work of your congregation throughout the East Bay.
- To get started, send us an email telling us about your congregation. In that email, please tell us the congregation name, the name(s) of your congregation's leader(s), your congregation's address, your phone number and a short statement about how you would like to get involved with Habitat for Humanity East Bay.
- Next, meet with us! We are interested in building even stronger ties with the faith community and would welcome the chance to meet with congregants who are excited about Habitat for Humanity East Bay. In our meetings together, we will discuss all the different ways congregations can get involved. Your participation is welcome! Please consider making spiritual, financial, and volunteer commitments.
- Ready to partner with Habitat? If you decide after meeting with us that your congregation would like to partner with us, we will ask you to sign our Covenant Agreement thereby formally stating your congregation's relationship with our affiliate.
