Our mission is to create successful homeownership opportunities for families with limited incomes by building sustainable housing and revitalizing neighborhoods. In 2008, Habitat for Humanity East Bay will celebrate our 20th anniversary, the completion of our 200th home, and with your help, the start of a campaign to complete the next 200 homes in just 5 years! Last Saturday, the Cruz family received the keys to their new home in Brentwood. Friends, family, community volunteers, and Habitat supporters joined in the celebration to celebrate the success of the new partner family.

Roger and Judy Haughton, long-time Habitat supporters, celebrated Roger's retirement by building with family and friends. Habitat would like to extend their gratitude to the Haughton family for their half-house sponsorship at our Edes Avenue development, and for their tireless support over the past 15 years.
