Habitat East Bay events bring the community together to help our mission to build affordable homeownership opportunities for low-income families. Whether it's banging nails, celebrating milestones or learning more about our organizations, events help continue the momentum to revitalize our East Bay communities.

2010 Earth Day Build-A-Thon

The annual Earth Day Build-A-Thon is our biggest building and fundraising event of the year!  Each year, participants raise pledges from friends, family members, co-workers and other to and join us for one, two, three, or all four days of the build event.  You can see a neighborhood literally built before your very eyes as we build from foundation to roof trusses during the four day blitz build event.

Executive Build

The Habitat East Bay Executive Build is an exclusive half day build that brings Bay Area top executive level officers together to volunteer on site. The event gives executives a great opportunity to give back to the community by swinging a hammer, while also creating an environment for senior executives to network and learn more about how their company can get involved with Habitat East Bay.

Bay Point Ground Breaking Ceremony

On July 31st more than 75 people came together to celebrate the start of vertical construction at the nine-home El Rincon development.  Volunteer opportunities are available Wednesday through Saturday.

Rehab Dedication - Bay Point

Habitat East Bay staff, volunteers and supporters gathered on Surfview Drive to dedicate another home in Bay Point.  The home is yet another example of the Contra Costa County Neighborhood Stabilization Program transforming foreclosured houses into affordable homeownership opportunities.
