Habitat for Humanity East BayHabitat East Bay created the Dream Builder Society to honor those that have made a long-term committment to our mission to build more affordable homeownership opportunities for deserving low-income families. As Habitat East Bay serves more families each year, the Dream Builder Society plays an increasingly important role. By making a multi-year commitment at the $1,000, $5,000, $10,000 or $25,000 level, donors allow Habitat East Bay to better plan for the future and the expansion of its homeownership programs.
Members of the Dream Builder Society can rest assure that their investment with Habitat East Bay is used responsibly. Habitat East Bay is proud to have received Charity Navigator's highest rating for fiscal responsibility. In 2008, Habitat East Bay directed over 89 cents of every dollar into the construction of Habitat homes.
The Dream Builder Society will play an increasingly important role in helping Habitat East Bay to reach its goal of building at least 45 homes per year by 2010 in order to serve even more low-income families.
