Bob Frick -- Riding for Hope

This August, Habitat supporter and avid bicyclist Bob Frick will dip the back tire of his bicycle in the Pacific Ocean in San Diego and begin a 3,000 mile journey towards St. Augustine, FL. Frick, 71-years old, is no stranger to long rides. Last year, he and his wife, Barbara, joined 120 riders for the 15th annual Habitat 500 bike ride in Minnesota to raise money and awareness for the Habitat mission. Now he plans to take it one step further.

During the 70-day long trip Bob will be stopping to spread awareness in different communities about the need for affordable homeownership, and how homeownership is a foundation upon which communities can be revitalized and families' lives can be changed.
